TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions are for private candidates and for school administrators entering candidates at our examination centre at MP Testing Services. Please read them carefully before registering for a Cambridge English examination.

Fees

Fees must be paid in $AUD when candidates register for the examination.  Proof of payment must be sent to MP Testing Services by email, fax or post by the entry closing date.

Enrolment

Enrolment is confirmed only when candidate details have been registered and MP Testing Services has received all payments for exam fees.  A receipt can be issued as confirmation of enrolment.  Candidate names should be sent by email to the Centre Exams Manager (cambridge@mptestcentre.com) on or before the entry closing date.

After enrolment, candidates cannot:

Australian Student Visas

Any candidate registering for the Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) examination for the purpose of an Australia student visa application must inform the Centre Exams Manager prior to enrolment.

Late Enrolments

Late enrolments are sometimes possible but are likely to incur an addition fee of $50 or $100, depending on how close to the examination date the enrolment occurs. Please contact the Centre Exams Manager for more details.

Special Arrangements

Application for Special Arrangements (eg dyslexia) must be made at the time of enrolment and no later.  Current supporting documentation (no older than 2 years) must be supplied in English for every application.  Special Arrangements may not be possible for late enrolments.

Exam Dates

MP Testing Services will run exams throughout the year provided there is a minimum number of eight candidates in any one exam.  (Should an exam not be held due to insufficient numbers, the exam fee will be refunded in full).

Cambridge Assessment English sets dates for written and listening tests.  These cannot be changed.  The speaking tests will be held at some point during the two weeks before the written papers, and candidates must make themselves available at any time during those two weeks.   Candidates who do not attend any one part of the exam will be listed as absent.  All parts of the exam must be taken in order to receive an exam grade.

Eligibility

Cambridge examinations may be taken by people of any age, race or nationality, but are designed for speakers of languages other than English. Photographic identification must be provided by the candidate for every part of the examination.

Test Day Photographs

Test day photographs are compulsory, in accordance with Cambridge Assessment English regulations.  Photos will usually be taken on the day of the speaking test.  Candidates who refuse to have their photo taken will not be allowed to take the exam and will receive no refund of their exam fee.  Candidates aged under 18 must provide permission in writing from a parent or guardian prior to having their photograph taken.

Results

Candidates can access their results online approximately 6 weeks after an exam, by going to https://candidates.cambridgeenglish.org/Members/Login.aspx?M=None

A few weeks before the examination date, candidates will receive an exam timetable which contains a personalized ID number, secret code instructions and the exact date of the results publication.

Certificates

Certificates are dispatched approximately six weeks after the results are published.  Candidates who register individually, i.e. independently of a school or training centre,  and who want their certificate sent to an overseas address must pay a fee to cover handling and postage at the time of enrolment.  If a candidate does not receive their certificate within 3 months of their results, they should contact MP Testing Services.

Refund Policy

No refunds can be given once an enrolment has been made.  A change in travel plans of a decision to withdraw or academic grounds will not be considered.
